Last days of June....

3rd - Picture perfect
2nd Attempt at hands over her head.
1st Attempt at hands over her head.
I will be giving her a tumble class here upstairs every
Wednesday night.
We enjoyed our 1st real tumbling class, but I got a speeding ticket,
Ashlyn looked and acted about 2 years older than everyone
in her class, so with all that said we are going to wait until after summer when
she can move up to the bigger class.
And the older class starts at 5:00, which will work out much better for my work schedule.
She really had a nice time in my mommy tumble class,
we jumped on the trampoline,
had a dance party, and did some forward rolls
on the twin mattress we have extra.
It was really fun.
I look forward to this time with my little girl!
The skirt Ashlyn has on was made by my friend Jennifer!
She loves making these adorable things for Ashlyn
and I love it too!!

Caleb Jr.
~Roping the moon~
I have said this before Luke is all boy!
He loves to play, outside.
Matter of fact before I was able to post this I had to go outside
and tell Luke and Pat to come in and go to bed.
Luke and Ashlyn love being with Pat. Who wouldn't???? No rules!
Pat got a little upset by this comment..ok here is what I meant
The kids prefer Daddy's Rules over Mommy's Rules

We are looking forward to our family reunion this Sat, and our
mini vacation to the Lynches River Cabin.

After this and next week-end,
Pat and I are helping with a shower
at the Beach for my best friend.
Our family is going to slow it down,
and enjoy the rest of summer.
Had lots of fun so far, but it has been a little rushed!

Sum'ma time!

We love the week-end's they go by entirely too fast!
This heat was awful!
Yesterday we tried to beat the heat and went swimming
Today we had the most wonderful service.

It was Patriotic Sunday,
we are so blessed!
We thank everyone who fights for OUR freedom.
God Bless America!!
And GOD BLESS YOU!
Luke's arm is still healing!
Pat has hurt his knee, hopefully will get it look at tomorrow.
Ashlyn is eating the house down! All she says is "I'm still hungry"
My meds are all out of wack..they have changed them like
5 times since April 1th,
and the joint/bone aches and pains are just awful.

I hope Luke's arm continues to heal, Pat's knee will be alright,
for Ashlyn to get full, and for my meds to get straight so that this
joint/bone pain will go away!

Some random shots Pat took of the kids, AFTER BATH! They did not get
to bed until 9:00 PM tonight! They were having fun, so I left them alone.

~Shelby Ann~

Well Shelby Ann decided to make today her day, not yesterday.
Poor Kerri has been in labor since yesterday at 6:00 AM.
I am glad our niece is here, and mom and baby can now get
some rest. Well despite the 100 visitors who want to see
the adorable little bundle of joy. She was 9 lbs and 3 oz.
Mom needs some rest and a pat on the back, my my that is a
big beautiful baby girl! With a head full of brown hair!

~Rabbit Babies~

I am sorry to say all of the baby rabbits died.
We think it was a combination of the heat
and the mom was not feeding them.

Luke's Wrist

Luke just received a good report from Dr. Greene.
He has to wear his brace only when
he is playing for 2 more weeks.
His wrist has healed!!
He is super excited that he does not
have to wear it to bed anymore
and that it is not going to
be much longer and he will not have to wear it at all!

Toddler Cuteness!

Ok Ashlyn is going through the terrible 2 1/2's with glimmers of pure humor and sweetness,
and Luke is a rough and tough 4 year old who is sweet as sugar.

Last night for example Luke and Ashlyn were having naked time, which is what we call the 2
or 3 minutes after they get out of the bath, and Ashlyn has this pillow princess book,
so she tells Luke "sit down I am going to read you a book".
I am at the door hidden, I knew this was about to get good.
So they both lay on the floor on their bellies.
Ashlyn starts reading,
"Once apon a time a little girl had a trampoline"
..then Luke starts with the questions;
What color is the trampoline?
How did you know the girl had a trampoline?
Can you read for real Ashlyn?
So they talked back and forth for a while, and Ashlyn flipped
through the book and when she got to the last page, she said "The End".
Luke thanked Ashlyn for reading to him, and told her "sister you are a good reader".

Ashlyn also told me the other morning "I not going to be bad today".
Which this AM Pat let her dress herself, and she was a sight when they were
finished. I took a picture and will upload it.

Luke loves his new summer camp, and is just having the best time
he bumped heads with another little boy, and Mrs. Debbie said
Luke was screaming at the top of his lungs and she asked him
if he was alright and he said "yes". She asked where did you get hurt?
He said "I don't know". She said what can I do to make it better?
He screamed at the top of his lungs "I want my daddy".
She laughed and he started laughing too, and they went on about their day!

~Parenting Mag~

Remember Sheila's family...my Sister is going to be in the July issue of Parenting Mag.
So excited I can not wait to see it! The were the Patenting Mag Roadtrip winners for 2010!

1st Day of Summer Camp

Ashlyn is loving all of this time without Luke (while he was asleep)
, she does adore her big brother, but when he is
not around she rules the roost! Today was Luke's 1st day of
summer camp. Ashlyn cried and wanted to stay, but she had to
go to daycare, she will be able to go once she is in school too.
At camp they went swimming, jumped on the trampoline,
did sprints, and just played their little hearts out! I picked
him up about 45 minutes early to get him a new brace, since
it is wore slap out. Once he was in the car, I stopped and got
him a Gatorade, and he drank 1/2 of it, and after we got his
brace it was nighty, night! I looked back and he was out cold!
He is still alseep 5:38 PM!! We are going to wake him up
and hopefully get him to eat, then bath and bed!
I hope he enjoys himself, but hope he also takes it easier
tomorrow. A nap would be nice too. Since he did not nap today!

Gallbladder!

Im not sure if it is a good thing or a
bad thing that I had my gallbladder removed.
I can eat and drink whatever I want pain free!!!
Which is not working out really well
with my wardrobe!
I have not lost 1 lb since I had it removed,
but I have to admit it is nice to eat and not
to have that awful pain!
Guess I will have to start working out more!!

back to work Monday, tomorrow.
It was a fun week-end, but I am tired!
Looking forward to Pine Island next
week-end to spend time with some
good/old friends!

to send the kids that are hard to potty
train home with me. :-)
They think Pat and I did a great
job with Luke and Ashlyn!
I told them it is all about the
M & M's and Gummy Bears!!!!!
Luke and Ashlyn made it easy
we really did not do anything
fancy or fantastic!

Snake ~ Litter, on the Dirt Road we love to drive our Golf Cart

Yesterday -
We were riding the golf cart and we saw this van stop,
a guy got out of the back with a tall trash can,
he walked over to the side of the road with no houses..
and dumped something. Pat was like speed up get his plates.
I floored it, but need less to say they took off before I
could get close.....so Pat gets off at the spot where they dumped
something. I turned the golf gart around so I would be right up on
the edge of the road....Pat was up on top of the hill looking down
you know to see what those guys dumped on our favorite dirt road
not to mention it was right in the Black Berry patch Pat was wanting us
to visit. I heard the grass moving RIGHT BESIDE THE GOLF CART
I looked down and it was a HUGE BLACK WATER SNAKE, it was
close you know those golf carts really are not that hight off
the ground. I was froze, my body hurt, and all I could do is
scram and then I floored the Golf Cart, left Pat high and dry
on the hill...all I could think was if that thing gest on here with me
....I would die, and who would drive the golf cart and get them
away from the SNAKE. Oh my..we are totally going to be putting out
some snake away. Luke was crying and clinging to me, and Ashlyn was
on the back with her seat belt on she kept asking that we go back and
look at the snake again.
Pat said oh that snake is more afraid of you than you are of it.
I would have to disagree!

Friday Night Relaxation

It was so nice to relax this Friday Night.
Papa Boozer and Dang kept the kids for
a much needed break for Pat and I.

New Beds

Luke and Ashlyn have new beds, Ashlyn moved up
to a toddler bed, and Luke moved up to a Twin.
They have slept pretty good, the first night
we woke up and Ashlyn was on the couch. But
she stayed put last night. Luke loves his new bed.
