1st Practice

Today was Luke's 1st Practice
and all of the little boys were
adorable. Luke was the 1st one
that got to bat! I think the Boozer
boys, Luke and Caleb are going
to be well known at the
Midlands Ball Field.
Ashlyn too if she wants to play, right now
she said she wants to do Soccer next year.

Family Reunion

We went to Papa Boozer's mom's
family reunion last week-end.

It was a blast.

Uncle Terry and Pat had Luke
convinced that the guy that was
telling jokes was the man from
the movie Up. Luke, Ashlyn
and another kid actually walked
up to him afterwards and shook
his hand it was funny!!

New Job ~ 6 Month Check up

Momma's got a new job. I start at SCANA, 09/07/2010.
I am excited, and ready for the change. I will miss my friends. I also had a great check up today from my Endo. It was a routine check up, and I always love hearing that my cancer was caught so early that the chance of it returning is almost zero, and that it is gone!!
Great day indeed!
08/31/2010 - The nurse called and all my blood work looks great, I need to take
some Vitamin D, the range is 30-80 and mine is 31, so she wants that up
and needs me to take 1,000 IU's daily.
Other than that all looks good!

I got an email today, from someone and this was at the bottom. Loved it and wanted to post and share. Have a great day!

Poncho and Lefty

Oh, we have some seriously funny little toddlers....
Luke is getting a kick out of dressing up, and dressing
Ashlyn. She is so confused, that she keeps saying she
is a boy, like Luke! Last night, Luke and Ashlyn
went to his room after bath time. Well when they
came out....this is what we saw!!!!!
Thanks daddy for snapping these photos!

Meet Abel...

I hope Abel comes home with Luke every onces in a while, so I can snap a picture of him. Luke's teacher gave him a Panda Bear Puppet, and asked him to take him home and name it. We named it Abel, cause Luke is able to do anything he puts his mind to and Abel is in the bible.

I asked Luke why did we name him Abel, and he said "cause I love the name Abel".

I will post a picture of Abel when and if he comes home for a visit.

Tumble Class Take Two!!
She did great!

The project....

10 Years

August, 1, made 10 years that I moved to Columbia,
I was a wide eyed, gullible girl, and after a few bumps
along the way I have grown up, and learned a little
more about how this world works, don't know it all....still learning!!!
I have tried to stay positive through it all, and have gained many new
friendships in Columbia that I am very proud of. It
is a blessing to have weeded my garden, and now
have only beautiful, honest, and positive people in my life!

Thanks to my new extended family, and my wonderful friends,
I can say it has been a great new life, and I am
proud to call Columbia my home, where Pat and I will
enjoy raising our family.

2000-2002 (Met my hubby August 2002)
2003-2004 (Dating, Wedding and Honeymoon 04/03/2004)

Can not wait to see how wonderful the next 10 years will be.

Full Week.........

Last week was our 1st full week back in the
swing of things...
This week Luke had to draw a picture of himself
for open house Friday night, and that was a source
of frustration.....we have 2 spoiled kids
who are having a hard time moving back to
our structured day. We will work through it.
Friday is Luke's last day of summer camp and
Monday is his first day of K-4!
I got Ashlyn's birthday invitations in the mail this
morning, and I am pretty happy with how they
turned out. She is ready to go in for a trial tumble
class this afternoon. All she wants for her birthday
are tumble classes, and her ears pierced!!
So I have called the instructor and we are going to see
if she is a better fit in the Thursday class.
She is so super excited about it. If she does ok in the
class she will start full time on the 9th of September.
Maybe we can get our daddy to take us to Sullivan's Island
this week-end? I enjoyed being home last week-end and relaxing.

T Ball....

Luke is ready for T Ball..starting in September.

We took him to practice today, and it was hot,
and I pulled something in my back. I hit it to
the fence, but I am really out of practice and shape.

I start Zumba today, so wish me luck!
Ashlyn has decided that she wants her ears
pierced. So I told her that if she would quit
picking her head, then I would let her get
her ears pierced. I told her it would hurt.

She does not really want to hear about that part.
Honestly I told her Friday and she has not picked
her birthmark scar since. We will see.

Getting ready for her party, don't know
exactly what we are going to do yet.

Sometimes she wants a Princess party,
now it is Spiderman, and the latest is
a cowgirl party. I wanted to throw her
a Mickey and Minnie party, but we will
just have to wait and see what we end up with.

Happy MONDAY!

Watch out I am throwing stuff away...

Today I have been very productive to say the least.
I have cleaned the house from top to bottom,
and dusted about anything that would stand still.
Thanks to my hubby for taking care of the kids
while I have cleaned like a crazy lady.

I cleaned out my bathroom vanity and even cleaned out my closet.
Pat was so impressed he ran off with the container to donate it, because he knows it is not often that I throw away anything. I think Pat thinks I was going to change my mind and keep some of it.
The kids were so funny, they went and got Pat and said "Daddy you gotta come see this".

Now for some rest and relaxation!!!

We almost took the kids to Sullivan's Island today,
but I am glad we didn't cause I have a clean house baby!

Our little Princess Tom Boy.....

Flash dressed herself in the above picture.

Now in this picture, she had a little accident at nap time.
Lindsey it remindes me of that cartoon you posted.
(I will pee in the toilet next time if this is what I have to wear.)
She is totally happy because they are boy shorts! :-)

Beach Baby ~ Beach Baby

So we went to the Beach, and had a blast.
Pat was going fishing for the week-end,
and I was already taking 3 days off of work
so instead of staying at the house. I took
the kids on a roadtrip to my old stomping
grounds, Surfside/Garden City Beach.
My best friend Nicole let us stay with her
for 3 days. We hit the beach everyday, played
some games at the Arcade, ate some yummy food.
Sam's Corner one night, and Japanese one night.
Hours of wave jumping is a pretty good work out!
I enjoyed my special time with my babies.
And our special time at Aunt Nicole's vacation house.
They did great, my kids don't really like to travel,
so I was very impressed at how well they did.

We stopped by Friday and got to see Grand Daddy
Brown, and the kids swam in his Hot Tub. Then
we played and spent the night with Grammy.
Had breakfast at McDonald's with Jedd Alan,
Livie, Aunt Sheila and Grammy. We completed our
wonderful trip by spending time with Aunt Cole
at TJ's birthday party swimming the night away.
After TJ's birthday bash we hit the road for home.
Both of the kids cried, and wanted to stay, but
Mommy was ready to see Daddy, and my BED.

The kids did miss you Daddy, Luke cried once
we got 1/2 way home wanted to SEE his DADDY!

It was a great time.

Daddy had a great time to fishing, can not wait
to hear all about the fun he had and the fish he caught.
