Shot Gun

Luke has his 1st Shot Gun!  Papa Boozer gave it to him this week-end for his birthday.  Here are some pictures of him with it. 

Taking Friday Off, What am I going to do with 4 days off?

I plan on it being wonderful.  I am going to spend time with my husband and babies having a ball.

Week-end

Pat has been dying to get some miles on his 4-wheeler so he took off Friday, and packed the kids up Thursday night to head to Papa Boozer and Dangs.  I did not get much done Thursday Night, I am not sure if it was the fact that I knew the kids and Pat would not be home, but once I got off Thursday I was dragging.  I played on the internet a little, but was in bed at 8:30.  I did not fall alseep until 10:00.  Pat called me Ashlyn was upset she wanted her "MOMMA".  I feel awful I told her to let daddy hold her and I was getting in my car to come and get her that was at 9:30, Pat called back at 10:00 she was fast asleep.  She stopped crying as soon as I told her I was coming to get her and 30 minutes later she was fast asleep.

Friday they kids and Pat played and rode the 4-wheeler the entire day.  Once I got off I tried to get some things done, but was not feeling very productive.  I got about 3 loads of clothes washed, but again I was tired.  My brain needed some down time, and I took it.

Saturday I woke up on a MISSION!  I popped up at 8:30, yes got to sleep in, then I started cleaning, and cleaning, while toting and sitting my coffee all over the house I could not hardly drink it I was in a ZONE.  Guess I was trying to play catch up??  I scrubbed the toilets, the bathtubs, washed all the sheets, throws (about 3 loads of stuff), steam cleaned the floors and loaded a ton of stuff that Pat was not able to take in his car when he went.  It was my plan to be at Papa Boozer and Dangs at 10:00.  I did not leave my house until 11:30.  I ran by some thrift stores, and picked Shelby Ann a 1 year old B-Day gift and made it to Papa Boozer and Dangs at 2:00 PM. 

The kids were most excited to see me, and I could tell Pat was loving country life.  Had not shaved, and was all sweaty from grilling fish.  We went to Wal-Mart to get Shelby's cake and I picked Pat up some razors.

I felt like I wanted to get so much more accomplished, but just was lacking the drive to get it all done. Oh yeah I did scrub Ashlyn's car seat down, that thing was AWFUL!

The Special Daddy in our life!

Dropped 4 lbs!

I dropped 4 lbs this week, never really lost that much in a week before.  I really hope I can keep it off this week-end and keep it coming off!  :-)

My wonderful, wonderful husband took the kids to spend a couple of days with his dad, and I am heading up Sat!  Oh how nice was it to be able to do some things around the house last night and not feel like my head is going to explode.  I was able to wash Ashlyn car seat cover, the thing is pink but I swear the sides were black.  She is my snacker and I think she wipes everything on the sides.  Anyway it is pink again and fresh.  Remind me next time to get the Dark Pink or BLACK!  Washed all of our throws we use, and the sheets.  Then I took my time playing on the internet and cleaning out my Web picture albums played with editing some photos.  Watched the Soaps and off to bed by 10:00 PM!

Tonight I am going to tackle my closet again, I know I just cleaned it out!  Luke and Ashlyn play hide and seek in my closet, and I have more clothes on the floor than I do on hangers. Think it is time to give some things to Good Will again.  I am looking forward to doing some yard sales tomorrow and going to hang out with my babies and my husband and his wonderful family!

Luke was on the November 2010 cover of the Fish'N and Hunt'N Guide, and to our excitement and delight, Ashlyn is on the JULY Cover! Run pick up a copy! She is styling in her pink bow, and pink fishing rod.  You can pick up a copy at any tackle shop near you in SC, NC or GA.  And at Wal-Mart in the hunting section!  They are free.

1st Day of Summer!

Welcome Summer, now that storm last night was for the birds!
Although it has felt like summer here for a while now. Today is actually the 1st day of summer. We have already had 1 vacation, had a week-end in Sullivan's Island, a couple of trips to Pine Island, and lots of Pool time with friends and finished about 3 Watermelons so far! Bring on Summer. But keep the storms at bay.

All of this early summer fun, has left my waist a little less than desirable. I started weight watchers 1st thing Monday morning, and am down 3 lbs so far! It had to be water weight! Here is to getting the rest of it off, before summer ends.

I have stocked up on Fudge Pops, and Sugar Free Popsicles! And a couple more trips to the Farmers Market is what we need.  Let the fun begin!

It is always so fun to do this. I love seeing everyone and so very glad, that our kids get to hang out with everyone from Pat's past and making sure they remain in our future. The best part about it is to see the kids together, and to discover and enjoy their personalities. To watch them grow and to see it is just so much fun.



Durham; the poor child had on enough sunscreen that he was white. He is so sweet and him and Luke were twins. He was wonderful about sharing his house and toys with all the kids! Handsome and giving. Mommy please give this child a BIG breakfast!!

Bryce; cracked me up several times. It just came naturally to him; his sweet nature. He played but mostly he wanted to make sure the kids had a good time, and were feed breakfast. :-) I just wanted to squeeze and kiss him he is so cute. And I did squeeze and kiss him.

Ryan; is such a handsome sweetie. He played his little heart out, and is so good with his sister. If he stopped I don't remember seeing it. I would have loved to have gotten some sugar from this little ball of energy, but a hi five and he was off!

Anna; just saying her little name makes me smile. What a smile and laugh her and Ryan have. I would do about anything to keep them laughing because I want to hear it all the time. It makes your heart swell up with this wonderful feeling! She is the littlest, prettiest thing.

Callie Grace; can't say enough about this sweet gift from God. She is so helping and loving! Instead of swimming she insisted on helping pack up the car and food. It amazes me how sweet she is, having a 5 year old I know how they act. Me, Me, Me, but not this wonderful child! She is also beautiful. Watch out mom and dad, this one is going to be a heart breaker. She loved painting everyone’s nails!

Caleb; is ALL Boy! He plays hard, sleeps hard, and then plays hard some more. He ran with the older boys, and kept up. Sometimes I think the older boys were trying to keep up with him. He is a doll, and is going to keep his mom and dad busy for a long time.

Brock; you can tell he is the youngest of Tiffany and Jason's boys. He goes with the flow, and nothing much ruffles his feathers. Long as you feed him and take care of his little needs he is happy. Such a handsome boy.

Delanie; she looks like a porcelain doll she is so pretty. And watch out she is a social butterfly who is determined. I am going to let her plan it next year. Or maybe Ella? It is a tie. She plopped right down and played in the sand, and met some new friends along the way.

Blake; does his own thing. His mom and dad does not have to worry about him following the crowd. He is happy as can be being his own wonderful self. You can tell he loves his little sister! It just shows. He is the kind of kid you want to squeeze and love on, but you don't want to bother him to much because he is enjoying doing his own thing.

Ella; Oh how this one cracked me up. She had on her tool belt, and was telling everyone to get together and take a picture with a little pretend phone/camera. I laughed so hard, I don't think I have ever laughed so hard. She was so serious, like she had seen her mommy do that a million times. :-) I think all the kids are a little tired of pictures. Cute little funny girl! You too were excited to have a little nail time in your tool belt.

Alex; is a girl and loves being a girl. She is so cute walking. I loved watching her walk. She needs a shirt like Ashlyn had, I make chunky thighs look good! She was working it. I have always loved chunky babies. I think that is what babies should look like!! She is so cute, and happy!

Luke; played, and played. He wanted to get in the pool so bad I think his head almost exploded from the anticipation of it. It was worth the wait! On the way home in the car he said "You know, I forgot to ask Durham where he got those cars from? I will have to remember to call him and ask." Seriously, stop being so grown little man! He said bye Katherine??? No it is Mrs. Katherine, oh good bye Mrs. Katherine. Love that smile my handsome Luke!

Ashlyn; sometimes I would forget you were there sweet girl. Unless you needed something or got hurt, I did not see you. You tried to keep up with Luke, but it was a little hard the boy is just into everything so fast. You are so sweet and pretty. You made lots of friends, and just wanted to catch 1 Bird??? Just 1! You loved getting your nails painted by Callie Grace.  Don't change my precious baby girl.  You make me want to have 100 more babies.  If I knew they would be like you.

Blessings and More!

I have been feeling the love lately, from the Lord above.  He has helped me so very much in the last couple of weeks with some things I have been stressing over personally.  Nothing earth shattering or anything, I can't put my finger on it exactly.  The good news is all is almost back to normal in my upbeat optimistic mind and heart.

Where do I start? 

The Blessings.......

Luke has been having some trouble since Ashlyn joined big school. He does not want to listen, and him and his sister seem to not want to be apart these days!! They have to be fighting or playing so the noise is constant. Some good and some not so good. Love to hear the laughing does my sole good. I think we have finally got them a little calmed down from the excitement of being at school together. :-)



Ashlyn has started picking her forehead again, and I know I keep saying it does not bother me....it did. I almost broke down one night and started praying, and then I stopped myself. How selfish am I? Praying for a scar that in no time at all is going to be a distant memory. My concern was that it was hurting her or her self esteem, but I should know. She is resilient and we will make sure she knows that she is perfect the way God made her. Enough said about that. I have made peace with it, and am thankful for my healthy, perfect family.

We got our new Golf Cart, which is something I have wanted for some time. Last night the air was cool and we took it out at 9 o'clock pushing the kids bed time back and went for a nice long ride. It is calming and relaxing. Kind of like when you are at the beach and take a deep breath and know you have a couple of hours at least to relax. So excited that we were able to get this.

Went to get my oil changed, and they found a crack in my Water Pump. I don't know what a Water Pump does but I kind of think you don't want it to break. The guy said it would damage the motor if it went out completely. He gave me the initial est. of $560.00 yikes! After panicking for a while I remember that my car is still under warranty so it is only going to cost like $120.00 for some additional part that is needed, and the deductible. Thanks to a miracle, and blessing for the Lord Above.

I won 2 dinner tickets for the Spirit of Lake Murray Dinner Cruise in July, to see the purple martins. It is going to be a nice Date Night for us and I am so excited I won it.

Being Thankful.......

Oh how Thankful I am for everything.  Through God all things are possible for sure.

~Golf Cart~

It has arrived, the one I have been waiting for.  I wanted something vintage looking, and the seaside aqua really turned out wonderful!  Love it!!

Pat had it sitting in the garage for me when I came home.  I was pulling in as usual and opened the door and there sat my beautiful golf cart.  Pat and the kids were peaking out the door window to see my expression when I pulled up and saw it for the 1st time.  I am seeing the color everwhere now.  The guy at the shop said that was the 1st time he had ever used that color.

Summer Do!

New Pool....Well Sort of!

Ok so we had this pool for a couple of years, and figured why not put it up.  The whole reason we had not put it up before now is because we don't have any flat ground.  So we tried 1 spot...no not going to work.  Then we thought oh we will just use the sand pile and level it out as much as we can. TaDa.  The pool went up! 

We come home Luke is not ready to go swimming so Ashlyn and I are the 1st ones in, I took a glass of wine to relax.  Luke joins us after about an hour.  I notice a little water spilling over the side, but what I failed to realize is everytime the water spilled over the side a little sand went with it.  Well the water basically removed all the sand on 1 side and the pool started to lose water FAST!  After sitting my wine class down I try to pull the side up.  I get it up and ask Luke to go and get his daddy.  Luke comes running in "Daddy, Mommy needs your help we have a Pool emergency".  Pat comes to assist and we put a chair to hold that side and it works, and it still holding.

Our Cool Nephew Caleb Turns 12----soon!

So Sun, we try to find the perfect gift for Caleb!  I know last minute I try to be HIP and get him one of those energy/sports bracelets.  I look on the web for them, and find them at a couple of stores, then we hit about 4 stores and no luck everyone is out.  As we are heading to Aunt Karen's for the party we decide to stop by Wal-green's and they have the watch bracelet, but it does not have magnets or ions.  So we get 1 to be on the safe side and it is close to Wal-Mart.  We get to Wal-Mart at 12:00 on the DOT.  They have 2 types I pick 1 (which is wrong, go figure).  We get it , and we are off to Aunt Karen's.  At this point we are only 20 minutes late.  We get lost, long storm short, we show up with 2 tired and frustrated babies/parents an hour late!!  Caleb has the gift we want, we get to go swimming and he had a great B-Day party.  Whew, what a day.

Caleb is a sweet and wonderful boy!  No matter how many times his sister was threw into his arms to hold and take a picture; he smiled.  He was in a wonderful mood.  His Aunt Karen went all out, got a pool and really made everyone feel welcome!!  It was a great day, and we are so happy for Caleb!!  He is a magnificent young man!  Honestly although I did not know his daddy, I know his brother and Caleb has characteristics of his daddy and his uncle Pat! Amen!  We love you Caleb Boozer, and you rock in our book!

Got my new camera, and LOVE IT!!

Luke asked if I was going to keep this one???  LOL!  Funny long story.......

Short version:  My camera was acting up had to tape it...you all know.  Went to Best Buy on the way to the Beach and they were out of the 1 I wanted, so I got one to get me by.  I was thinking maybe I would become fond of it, well I didn't ie we went and returned it last night and got the 1 momma really wanted!  I am pure T Tickled!!
