I have been down with the flu since pretty much Wednesday. I was not feeling so hot, Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday just tired, and Thursday I started with a full blown fever. I made it through work somehow Thursday and Friday. This week-end I have been DOWN FOR THE COUNT. This thing is really miserable. I have never had anything like it before. I really hope and pray that no one else gets it.

1st Dove Hunt
Luke went on his 1st Dove Hunt with his Dad. I was the same day as Ashlyn's party, and he had to leave Grammy to go while the girls went to Atlanta for Livie's birthday party, but they had a good time.

Week-End Recap!
Our week-end started out with a get together with my old buddies from Premier. Tuesday 09/11 was Dee's last day and she was the final Premier member, since Medical Mutual bought us out in 2004. We had a run, but it to came to an end. The PPO's of the Carolinas is officially gone. We had a nice little gathering, and got to hang out. MeMaw and PawPaw kept the kids and they had a blast. Ashlyn said she had no tears when we picked them up! They played the Wii and made muffins.
Saturday we started off the day celebrating a wonderful little fella turn 5! It is just amazing that mine and Katherine's babies are 5.....OH MY. Caleb had the best party, we had yummy pizza and cake. As well as we could not have asked for better company or weather.
After heading home to change into our Carolina gear we headed up to the Stadium to hang out with Kevin, Alice, Blake and Delaney! The kids have never been tailgating so this was a 1st. We did not get tickets because it was kind of a last minute decision and thought that tailgating would make the kids happy. I say tailgating, it was actually a high class pregame party. We hung out in the Condo right beside the Cockaboos, or upstairs on the Patio! (Nice Place) It was so nice to hang out with the Davis family and let the kids soak up all the the pregame festivities had to offer. Blake and Delaney are just precious and Kevin and Alice are doing a good job raising them. Luke and Ashlyn were upset we did not go and sit on the bleachers and to be honest that may have been our only chance, those tickets cost a little much. We are going to possibly try to get Wofford tickets and let the kiddo's sit on the bleachers. Luke did not want to see Cocky said he wanted to see the REAL Gamecock and I finally realized he was talking about the Gamecock they bring in on the pedestal. Leave it to my child to want to see something that is the hardest to accomplish. We did walk around the stadium with 4 fingers held high trying to get tickets, however most people only had 2 and we wanted to sit together. Since we had no luck getting tickets we went and had ice cream at Zesto's. This made the world right for the kids!

Tacos Anyone?
In cleaning out the back seat this morning I found a Taco, in the wraper and in the bag. It was left over from Sunday. I guess Luke was saving it for an after school snack one day after school!

Out of SPACE!
I am out of picture space. I have my normal work arounds, but I think this time I might have to get more space, or delete some old post pictures. Really, Really got to get caught up on printing my books.
Money, Money, Money, MoNEY, (MONEY)
What is going on? Luke and Ashlyn love money!
This week-end, Sheila had some cash out and Luke “FOUND” a $20.00 bill. He tried to give it to Aunt Sheila and she was like “no honey I am not going to take your money”, he INSISTED! So we all counted out our cash and Luke “FOUND” one of Sheila’s $20.00 bills. Luke said “ I have never had a TWENTY- DOLLAR Bill Before. I really, really want one”. We had a talk with him, so hopefully your money will be safe at the house. Just in case don’t leave it out. Ha.
We counted his piggy bank and he has $17.58 so our goal is to earn the rest of the money and go change it all in for a $20.00 BILL! Ashlyn has enough, not sure how that happened. So instead of buying something with the money we are going to cash it in for bigger bills. How funny is that? They are both saving up for a dirt bike. Hahaha, it will be a while couple of years I would imagine.
Luke is having a fundraiser at his school and they are selling flower bulbs. They run $10.00-$20.00 depending on the type of bulbs. The fundraiser runs from 08/27-09/28. The student who sells the most receives a CASH prize of $100.00. Luke is excited. He wants to win so bad.
Here is how to view the catalog:
http://www.flowerpowerfundraising.com/campaign?campaign_id=12164
My flowers cost $14.00, and they included a $5.00 shipping charge.
If you would like to support this fundraiser please do so. Springdale is an amazing school and Ashlyn will be going there next year too so it will be money well spent. And what if, Luke won? His year would be made!! PLUS when your flowers bloom you can think of little Luke.
Thanks guys! Love Ya! If you do order let me know so I can make sure the PTO knows it counts towards Luke’s school. If online does not work for you and you would rather see a book let me know.

Party Anyone?
What a party week-end we had! We started off the week-end with a pool party with the friends and family we love most. We have the best friends and family. I know some people could not make it, but I love you all, and the support and love you show to our babies is priceless. We are loved, and we love everyone one of you!
After the pool party fun we headed to the big city of Atlanta to have a super duper party for Livie, our neice. She has always adored dolls so this was right up her alley. Ashlyn even cried and wanted a doll, not sure why it was the $50 - $100 price range, but she did. We settled her with a sippy cup and diapers. :-) Still $26 bucks, but it was her money and she wanted to buy it, so I let her!
Pictures to come. I have so many as usual hopefully I will find the time tomorrow.
Pat took Luke dove hunting, and did some cleaning around the house.
Memories were made!
