Me oh my it is SUMMER TIME!

All I can say is......we started our summer off and our feet did not hit the ground.  We were not running, we were flying!

We have a new babysitter and she has been keeping Luke on and off.  She is 15 going on 35.  She ran the golf cart into the garage door on day 3!  She is really a good kid, but it has been an experience for sure.  Luke and Ashlyn love her, and it is getting a little easier each day.  Did I mention it has been an experience! :-)

We did Cheer Camp!  This is Ashlyn flying HIGH!  Our girl is BRAVE!

We did VBS.  Late nights for a full week, not getting to bed until 11:30 PM, but man was it worth it.  This is just one night of soul saving!  Pat and I were teachers..haha and the place will never be the same!!  They still talk about our doves.  :-) It was raining so we brought in some decoys to hide in church and Pat went above and beyond putting some leaves in the doves mouths.  #Bless it!

We did Sullivan's Island, Mini High School Reunion with some good old friends:

We did Father's Day up right (cause our daddy rocks!), with a trip to the Beach and an amazing brunch at Page's Okra Grill.  Yummm, all I can say is Fried Okra at 10:45 is the way to roll!

We did cousin summer camp, YA'LL.......... that's right and we survived!

We got fresh with our local farmer!  Aunt Cole has the best local produce!

This month has flown by, and some bad things have happened, but honestly.....great things have tipped the scales in our favor!  Thank you GOD!

Summer Camp!!

Girls – Summer Camp 2013

Sheila and Livie arrived @ 5:30 we made bracelets, had supper and a dance party!

Day 1:

• Summer camp Day 1. Aunt Sheila got to drop you guys off. You were so excited to get there you passed up breakfast out!! The 1st Day of Camp you made alien buggers and rockets. Uncle Pat took you to get your Roo Cups filled up! That night for supper we had mini corn dog nuggets and watched Tangled. Livie watched the whole thing and did not fall asleep. (1st and only time Livie sat in the dirty car seat)

Day 2:

• I took the girls to MeMaw’s and PawPaw so that PawPaw could drop you off at Edventure, I had a meeting in Aiken and needed to be to work by 8:00. It turns out to be one of the things you guys loved the most. Livie rode in the front seat. The 2nd Day of Camp you made pillow cases, and blinking lights. Uncle Pat took you to fill up your Roo Cups and then we got dressed in our new crab outfits and went out for Japenese food. Livie could not stop asking “where is the peepee man!”. Aunt Joy Lynn wanted to crawl under the table. We came home and got ready for bed and packed lunch for day 3!. (Ashlyn rode in the dirty car seat)

Day 3:

• Aunt Joy Lynn dropped you off and you both asked for PawPaw to drop you off instead. You both made the drawing robots this day, and bugs! The weather was iffy! However we did get to swim after all! Uncle Pat picked you up and took you to swim with Caroline, Olivia and Alex. You girls had a blast and shared and ate a lot of your Reese peanut butter cups. Then Aunt Joy Lynn picked you up and we went to McDonalds to eat. Livie had so much sugar she was not really in to eating, however she finally got a couple of chicken nuggets down. We went to church and had some puppy puppet fun. You got to decorate cookies and Livie really did not want one cause she had enough sugar from earlier. We went home and packed up and got ready for day 4!

Day 4:

• Aunt Joy Lynn dropped you off and you still wanted PawPaw! You made play doh this day, and some other things. You came home with a BAG of stuff! It was your last day. You had fun, except for the bully’s! LOL! We got off early and picked you guys up at 2:30 to head to Marion for Family night at the boys camp. We went to see them! I think you girls really missed your brothers this time and they missed you. We went back to Grammy’s to swim in the pool that night and eat some Pizza up!

Day 5:

• We were in Marion and hung out! We grilled on the fire and had so much fun! We stayed until Saturday and then Luke had a little melt down which was fine we had a blast and needed to head home to recuperate from our wonderful time!!
