PAINT!

So we have just not really done a whole lot with the house the last couple of years.  We got 5 rooms painted and boy what a world of difference some paint makes!!

Spring Fever!

T-Ball

As I posted in Facebook: If you know me....even a little bit you KNOW that I love T-Ball.  I love T-Ball more than the Young and the Restless!  :-)

Saturday was opening day and we went stomach bug and all.  Sorry.  We typically try to not share our germs, but it apparent we are the only one that goes by that rule. So we went anyway.

Sick Day #2

Ashlyn threw up a few times Friday Night.  WE still did our parade Saturday for Opening Day and our 1st game was Saturday as well.

Pat was a good daddy he stayed up all night with Ashlyn.  I was so tired, and every time I woke up she was laying on her daddy.  I did not get a picture, but it was super sweet.

Sick Day!

Luke got sick Saturday, and has felt kind of run down ever since.  Today he was fine when he work up, and then he started feeling a little weak prior to leaving the house.  Luke is the kind of kid that when he lays down you just know something is wrong.  He napped for 2 hours and I knew he was not feeling well.

I hope he will be ready for school tomorrow because he can't really afford to miss anymore days of school.  Since we are going to Club Med for our 10 year anniversary trip.

While Luke was sleeping I started on painting his big boy room, because you all know me I can't sit still.  I  watched 30 minutes of SOAPS.  Pat said that he talked to one of his friends and he mentioned I was home with Luke.  The guy mentioned me getting to relax.  Pat said no she is probably painting or something...she can't sit still.

Finally!

So Ashlyn finally lost a tooth!  It happened in kind of a weird way.  It has been lose for a while now.  And Ashlyn and Luke were playing on the trampoline, Luke fell.... his knee came up and popped the tooth right out of Ashlyn's mouth.  I seriously had to get on the trampoline and it took me 30 minutes to find it thru the pine straw, but I finally found it.  Ashlyn was in tears worried the tooth fairy would not come see her.  I kept telling her we could write a letter.

Yes I did have to spank Luke.  I know he did not mean to do it, but honestly he has got to be more in control of his body, and he just can't lose control and fling/fly up in the air and not worry about who he hits/hurts on the way down. I honestly don't think he did it on purpose.  I just think he needs to learn how to control himself a little more, and be extra cautious of his little sister.

I mean she was bleeding and all.... ALL she cared about was finding that tooth! Bless her heart.

Ashlyn got $6 Bucks from the tooth fairy.  She was a lot excited.  She said she heard the tooth fairy's wings.  :-)  I am one lucky momma!

Baseball!

Ashlyn is ready for Baseball to start up!  I am glad and sad Luke is not playing!  We had pictures, and it was COLD. 

Luke could not come on the field, and he actually listened and stayed in the dug out where I told him to stay.  I got really upset when I could not find him and then I went back to the dug out and he was there.  :-)

This is going to be hard.  Pat is coaching and I am Team Mom, so we have got to be able to keep an eye on Luke also.  Just the typical joy and struggle of having two kids.
