Friday - Celebration of the Arts.

I almost forgot to post.  They have done the Celebration of the Arts at Springdale for the last 16 years.  It was wonderful!  Luke and Ashlyn have some moves!

Long Week-end Memorial Day!

• Saturday morning, Pat took the kids fishing, while I get to enjoy my time shopping.
• Sunday Luke had a play date after church while I was Ashlyn's BFF!
• Monday we had some really good BBQ chicken with family.  (Stacie, Adam, Sawyer, Anabelle, MeMaw and PawPaw came over)

 

 

Grades

Grades are in!! Luke finally got a B in math!!

Ashlyn pulled her language arts up!!

Bowling for Books!

Both kids got to go bowling for books, but I only got one picture of Sweet Ashlyn sent to me! Luke said it was fun. Ashlyn said she is not much of a bowler!! Her talents are must be in Basketball, Soccer and Softball 😊

FireFlies II

We loved our second trip to see the fireflies, the 1st trip we got to see and hang out with the Wright's.  This time we got to be with Springdale folks.  It was perfect weather, we got home kind of late (10:30 PM) and I have bags under my eyes today, but it was worth it the kids had a blast!


Luke and Ashlyn, we are so happy you get to do all these cool things, I hope you remember it! We love you, and do our best to spoil you, at the same time we want you to appreciate things and always, always put God 1st.


Ashlyn was given a ball by a player, and Luke caught a ball and tossed it to his friend Chase.  He did the right thing, but he really kind of wanted it back after he did it.  LOL!  As I told him something good will happen to him because he did something for someone else. 

Doctors Visit 2

So Luke fell, in the bushes behind Wing Stop LONG STORY!  He got something stuck in his shin.  Pat and Luke cleaned it out after church, and well kind of forgot about it.  He hit it again Saturday, and well let's just say it did not look good!  So I worried (according to Pat over worried) Saturday and Sunday, I finally said I don't care if I am over reacting I am taking him to the doctor and getting this thing looked at!


The child had something the size of a sunflower seed in his shin.  The doctor got it out and I think it shocked me and the doctor.  I laughed. If you know me I laugh at this sort of stuff.  I know crazy, but it was like the weirdest thing I have ever seen!  Luke said me laughing so hard made him laugh hard!  He likes it when I laugh.  LOL!


It felt and looked 50% better when we left.  Today it is way, way better and on the mend.


Wow, this is one for the books!!

Shaw Air Show

Pat has been wanting to take the kids to the air show and they finally got to go!


I was a nervous wreck the entire time about Luke's leg that I stayed home and cleaned the house. Plus I have been sick for over a week.  Finally feeling better! No Doctor for Me.  See....Doctors Visit 2 to explain about Luke's leg!  OH MY!

Doctors Visit 1

We spent Saturday at the doctor poor Ashlyn had strep, I actually started her on left over antibiotics Friday night. I know I am not the only one who has done that.  :-)


She is on the mend, poor kid.  Anytime strep is going around she has to catch it!
