Thursday Gallbladder Surgery - Good Friday

Well Thursday I had my surgery, and it went GREAT!

I woke up really sleepy, and my right shoulder was the only pain I felt.
It is some sort of pain you can get from the gas.

The pain is almost all gone now.

It flares up in the afternoon, and then gets better,
but is not near as bad as it was the first few days!

Pat was wonderful Thursday, we took the kids to school

then we stopped by the pharmacy, and made sure they

had my insurance card and then went to the Surgery center.

We checked in early, and they got me prepped right away,

and I went back right on time.
Pat had the boring job of sitting in the waiting

room the entire time, about 2 hours or so

then he stopped me by to get my meds,

and we were home bound. My hubby
did a great job of keeping everyone informed

while I was in recovery.

He got me all settled and then went to get the

kids to drop them off at Dang's work
so they could go to Camp Papa Boozer's

and Dang's for the next 3 days.
Will post more later and have some

adorable pictures hopefully that Dang took,
the kids did not want to come home,

and we really did not even have to call and check on them!
They were very content and that made my

recovery that much more relaxing to

know they were happy and content!

You want them to have fun,
but you kind of want to be missed too!!

I slept most of the day Thursday, and took a nap Friday,

after waking up at 8:30.
Pat and I went to two stores,

went to the meat market to get some
chicken, broccoli, and candy yams,

and to the feed and seed to get our rabbits
that we knew were coming home with the kids some bedding.

Steve's friend got the kids a rabbit each! ~ So Sweet!~

Good Friday was a blurr I watched movies

the rest of the time, and took a

couple pain pills even though I really was not in pain,

but everyone kept saying
to keep the pain pills in me cause once the

pain hits it is hard to play catch up,
so I was a good patient and took them very lightly!

I could not fall a sleep guess all that sleep
Thursday and Friday morning did the trick,

cause I stayed up very late Friday night.

The Easter Bunny visited the kids at Camp Papa Boozer's

and Dang's Saturday morning.

Pat and I got up late around 8:30
or so and got dressed to go get our babies,

who we missed more than they missed us.
We stayed at Papa Boozer's and Dang's

and hung out a little while and had lunch,
and then we were headed home, both

babies slept as soon as they hit the car seats. :-)
We got home and let them play outside had supper

and got them in the bed.

Sunday we got up and went to Church,

and came home and took a 3 hour nap.
MeMaw and PawPaw came over around 5 or so,

with Caleb for a visit,
and to bring the kids an easter basket, which they loved.
They surprised us with Caleb, we had a little Egg Hunt and

rode bikes,the Golf Cart and the Green Machine.

Then the Boozer family had supper, and got ready for bed,
so we could be ready for our long week-end to come to an end!

It was a great Easter Break!
