HILarious

Every kid/parent goes through this. I could not help but find this funny. I DID NOT LAUGH in FRONT OF Luke but I was dying inside TOO LAUGH, and give him a HIGH FIVE!
Luke walks in the house lightening fast, passes me on the way in, and said “Hi mom I had a GREAT day”. Just what every parent wants to hear! So I say “that’s great Luke so go wash your hands and get ready for supper”. He says “sure no problem”. Supper is almost ready both kids have washed up, they are biding their time doodling on the dry erase board. Pat and I tell them that supper is ready, and Luke has been excited and just really chipper so with that said he comes running to the table and throws the dry eraser up in the air. Where does it land??? On Ashlyn’s head, of course. Pat goes over “Luke why did you do that?” He was like what? I go over to assist, Pat is working on getting Ashlyn quiet, and I said “Luke why did you hit your sister in her head”. He said “I didn’t mom”. I explain that Daddy and I saw him. He said “Mom I promise I did not hit her in the head the Eraser DID”.

TRUE Story. I can’t make this stuff up.

Lost 1 lbs

I actually lost 1 pound!

Now 15 more to go,

before our Vacation!

Almost a pound a week.
I really, really want to stick with it.

Oh yeah and my Boogie is healing little by little!!

Today was not my lucky day.

Turns out I was deleting my boss'
meeting requests. He told me last week
I did not need to keep them, so I started
deleting them. We both figured out that
removes them from his calendar
because of my rights. UGGGH.
He was cool about it, takes everything in stride.

Then I am working on a project, that is just
not clicking with me mentally.

I go to lunch. While eating my soup and sandwich
which is not going to fill me up, CAUSE I AM HUNGRY.
I bring my water up to my lips and the cup buckles
water flyes all over me. Up my nose, my shirt
my FACE and my HAIR. My bangs were wet as water
I was gasping because water went up my nose, when I
get to the bathroom I see that half of my mascara
was dripping down my face and on my cheeks!

Not to mention I already wanted to call in and REST today.
I should have listen to my body!

Oh yeah and I had a zit under my nose, which I can't seem
to leave alone so now it is a HUGE sore. Last time
I had one in the same place, Luke kept telling me I had a boggie.
I tried to explain to him it was not one, just a sore with lots
of concealer on it. He said Nope it is a Boogie.
So I walked around all day with something that looked like a
boogie under my nose!

I am trying to diet and all I want to do is EAT!

Is it JUST TUESDAY?!?!?!??!??!?

Road Trip!

We had a fun time in Marion as usual.

Also As Usual, it was a BIG FAT HEADACHE
getting Packed and out the Door!

Once we arrived the kids and I had a blast.
They wanted to stay, and planned a trip
back soon.

Luke had a boys night. Went with Uncle Jedd
and Jedd Alan to the Monster Truck Show. It
was for Jedd Alan and Luke's early BDay present.
They had a wonderful time. Elie and Mr. Mike went.
Luke sat with Mr. Mike for a while and sucked his thumb.
When he got in the car, he sai, I Love. Jedd Alan, Uncle Jedd
Elie, and that guy in the front seat! LOL! Our littleman
loves everyone!

Ashlyn and I were able to participate in a wonderful
girls night. Complete with Aunt Cole and Grammy.
We went out to eat, then Livie and Ashlyn put on a
show of dress up and did our nails. These two
little ladies were precious, and adored all of this
GIRL time. Ashlyn did the cutiest thing. She
got to wear a tutu, and then she found a gun
in her dress up bag, well she went through
the living room, holding her gun straight up
in the air. Her tutu flapping in the wind, and her
gun banging in the air! Ok so she is not a prissy girl~~!
That is OK by me! She is still pretty as a picture!
Thank GOODness the nail polish came off in my bath!

It was a wonderful and memorable trip.

Last night we went out to eat at the
Congaree House of Pizza.

It was so good and we ate too much.

Pat and I are kicking ourself right now,
we needed that like a whole in the head!

Pat's U Joint went out on his truck
yesterday, but we were able to get it fixed
and he is driving it today. $160 bucks later
everything seems to be fixed.

Off to Marion this week-end. The kids
are super excited.

Two Car Garage

I think Pat likes being able
to park in the Garage.
It will spoil you for sure!!

New Laptop

I even french braided her hair.

up. Pat and I don't like these

light up shoes but know this is

a phase and it shall pass.

Sliding like Frosty

This happened about 3 days ago,
and I can't believe I have not posted
it yet.

Luke wanted to slide on the ice on his
belly like Frosty! Pat and I were so
busy working so Wednesday Night
was all about getting back on a schedule.
Thursday night we went outside to jump on the
trampoline and it was still covered with snow.

Luke wanted to go down the hill on his belly.
So Pat let him. And I must say it was extremely
funny. He had on his slick coat. And Pat would pick him up a
little and kind of push him down the hill.
I came in to get the camera to catch his
next slide. We all come in and I have the bright
idea to bring out the laundry basket. Figured it
would be fun, right??? I am still looking for the camera.
Pat goes back out with the kids and the basket.
I MISSED it, we could have WON some serious
money on the Funniest Home Videos.

Once I found the camera I go outside and Luke
is like the Laundry Basket, IS NOT A GOOD IDEA!

Ok so you guys have already tried it?

He said yeah, Daddy put Sister in it, and he had to
slide and save her. She turned backwards and it
is just {NOT} a GOOD Idea. He was rambling and
really stressed out.

Ashlyn was the 1st and only one to try the basket.
Pat put her in it and shoved her off. He said she
was going really fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!! About halfway
down the hill the basket turns around backwards,
and Pat sees this look of horror on Ashlyn's face.
She is picking up speed and heading straight for
the fence! So Pat takes off running, and he did
a belly flop, his hands out like superman. He
slid down and caught Ashlyn in the run away basket
before she hit the fence. Poor Pat actually cut his
hands pretty bad on the ice.

Can you imagine seeing him sliding down
on his belly to catch her?


I can't help but laugh everytime I think about it.

Really did not want to have to wear the

We get to stay in an B&B,
in Columbia and go out to eat!

Pawley's Front Porch, and then
hit Salty Dog.

Schools Back In!

What a wonderful thing!

I love SCHOOL!!!

School was back in session today

and it was wonderful to get back

on a little routine!

~NO COW, RIGHT???~

We had supper at Chick-fil-a. It was

Spirit Night for our Church.

Anyway, well the kids never want to

go anymore, because once while riding

by Pat pointed out the Cow.

They have been afraid of the Cow

and frankly don't want to go back

to Chick-fil-a because of it. So

we tell them that the Cow will not be

there. Pat had to do a trip around the

parking lot and look in the windows

and..........ALL Clear no COW!

So we play and daddy was placing

our order, when he waves to get

my attention. IT WAS THE COW...

HEADING MY WAY! I calmly got

both kids, and told them to come

and sit in my lap and wave high to

the cow. Lets just say getting them

in my lap happened very easily and

quickly I might add. They did fine.

As long as the COW kept his distance

all was good. They went back to

play, but kept a close eye on the Cow

and if he even looked like he was coming

close to the play room, they would make

a bolt for the door to tell us, so we could

make sure he did not come near them.

Snow/Ice

It is GREAT to see the SUN OUT.
School is closed for the 3rd Day,
and Pat and I are at work as well.

We are very grateful to Papa Boozer
and Dang for keeping Luke and Ashlyn
2 Days for us, and to MeMaw and PawPaw
for letting us spend the night with them so
we would not have to drive home in the
ICE.

Last night we drove and got the kids
they are at home with our neighbor today
and I am ready for a normal day tomorrow.

Everyone else got to be off, and I am sure
they are ready to get back to work. Well
Pat and I are just ready for a NORMAL DAY.

To Do List:

• Pray for NO MORE STORMS
• Get the Kids some Ski Bibs and Waterproof Gloves
• Count our Blessings! Thank everyone for their help. It is stressful to be needed at work and not be able to be a parent to my kids during a storm, but the wonderful thing is we have family and neighbors that we can rely on. We are BLESSED!

Snow

Pat and I made it to work safe!

We both have an overnight bag.

I think we might be working a 12 hour

shift today or tomorrow.

Man it is bad out there. So very

glad that we took the kids to spend

the night with Papa Boozer and Dang

last night before the snow storm hit.

Pat parked the car at the bottom of the

hill, and we had to walk down to get in our car.

It was kind of funny!

Stories flashed in my head, about our

grandparents having to walk a mile in

the snow to get to school!

Too Funny!

We went to bed last night to rest up

for the Snow storm. I know all of our

friends opened a bottle of wine

because they knew they had a Snow Day Today.

Ha Ha Ha Ha!

We have 2 inches, and it is really coming

down. Now that I work for the Power

Company I view Snow Storms totally different!

I work for the BEST Company in the world.

To see the people that are here and working

like little bee's to make sure that you and I have power.

It is impressive to say the least!

Girls Basketball Game

Ashlyn and Cocky!

She loved her 1st Mother/Daughter Basketball game.

We really enjoyed the Girls Basketball Game.

The tickets were cheaper, the parking was free.

As soon as we got in we saw Cocky, and got to

wave at him. We got our tickets, and got right

up the stairs to get our picture made with him!

Ashlyn said she was going to hug him, and give
him high five. Well none of that happened.

She was a little afraid, but as long as I was holding

her, she gave him high five and we had our picture

made with him.

Due to the Snow we let the kids spend the night

with Papa Boozer and Dang, because we HAVE to

go to work.

Boys Basketball Game

Totally into it!

His 1st Basketball GAME

with Daddy and Caleb!!

Luke, Caleb and Pat went to a Carolina Basketball Game.
Pat has been wanting to take Luke and MeMaw and Paw Paw
got the boys the tickets!

They had a blast! Luke thought he wanted to see Cocky UNTIL

they turned off all the lights and then Cocky came out.
It scared Luke half to death as Ashlyn would say!

The entire time the boys were at the game we watched Cocky
on the NCA Cheerleading website, and Ashlyn kept saying
how she wanted to go and give Cocky a big hug.

So I told her I would take her to the Girls Basketball Game
tomorrow. She went to bed with a smile on her face!!

No Picture of Luke with Caleb or Cocky, but the Boys

enjoyed their 1st Boy's Basketball game also.

Night with out the kids ~ Not

MeMaw and PawPaw wanted Luke and Ashlyn to spend the night.

Both kids were super excited.

Ashlyn made it an entire hour, before she wanted her daddy.

Next week-end should be intresting!

By the way. I talked all this smack about my synthroid and

it is not even off! This is a first for me! It's my first time

being wrong. Maybe I have a little virus or something, or

I am just eating too bad!! I did feel a little better this week.

Ashlyn is sitting her beside me eating pizza in her PJ's with

her summer hat on! This kid is FUNNY!

Luke is having fun at MeMaw's and PawPaw's!

He did not want us to get him.

Caleb, Luke and Pat are going to the Carolina Basketball game tomorrow

they are all so excited! I hope they get a picture with Cocky!!

Luke wants one so BAD!

The constant synthroid battle.....

Who knew that being on synthroid would

always be a battle to keep straight. This will be

the 5th time they have had to adust it in 5 months.

I have felt like crap for the last 4 or 5 days. Was

hoping to have my lab results back today.

So I would be 1 day closer to feeling like

me again. Kind of a let down they are not back.

Don't get me wrong it has not

slowed me down. It makes me more mentally

drained than anything. And a little flu like

aches. Dry skin, headaches. Ok, really I

am just putting on a little pity party for myself!

LOL!!

Just had a bad couple of days. I am not going

to start the year off complaining.

Well not anymore that is.

On a good note, I am not going to take it laying

down. Ate good today, drank my water

and walked 2 miles on the treadmill.

I know it will all be fixed soon.

Oh yeah we over slept this morning. If it was not for Luke

running in at 7:00 to tell us good morning we

would never have made it to work on time.

We usually get up at 6:00. Late start

always = a hard morning.
