Catching Up

I need to play catch up...
Ashlyn started Tumble class again,
and boy has she missed it, and she and Luke
were missed as well. We started back this
Thursday. Luke has some little girls
that ADORE him. They are the little
cheer squad above Ashlyn. Luke went
to summer camp with some of the girls and
2 months away made the heart grow
fonder. Lets just say he was extremely
popular last night.

Ashlyn has missed her tumble class.
It got extremely busy around December,
and she honestly did not seem to be
that in to it...so we decided to take a
month or two off. The first month she
really did not miss it, but Feb ALL she
asked when we picked her up was
am I going to tumble class today? So
we happily started back Thursday.
She got her 1st real pair of PomPoms
today! I dropped off her cheer uniform
to her teacher someone needed to
borrow it, and in exchange the teacher
gave her some PomPoms, and the girl is
ecstatic!

Tonight we took the kids to Bill's Pickin
Parlor and they had their 1st RC Cola and
MoonPie Combo! I did not have my camera
and would have paid anything to have
captured this precious moment.
I will have to take good notes!!

Ashlyn was pretty as a peach in her Black
and White check top and black pants.
Luke had on his cute Jeans, Cowboy Boots
and his striped Gap shirt with the 3. They
were so stinking cute. We got in and got
our chips, RC Cola and MoonPie's and grabbed
our seats. Once we were seated of course
Luke and Ashlyn wanted to know how
much longer we would have to wait?
A pleasant surprise MeMaw and PawPaw came!
They got to enjoy this special 1st visit with us!

We had to leave a little early 9:00 P.M, because
both kids were getting sleepy only 2 hours past
bed time! We totally want to go back. Ashlyn
keeps calling the MoonPie a Pot Pie. So we will
have to go back soon and get a Pot Pie and Cola.

It would make Pat and I so proud if the kids played
and instrument. Please Please 1 of you play the Violin.
I love it SO!

Enen though we had already had supper. We enjoyed
2 MoonPies, 3 RC Cola's, 2 Bags of Chips and a Water.

Luke and Ashlyn it is absolutely a pleasure to see you enjoy
things for the 1st time. You were both soaking the evening up!
The enjoyment and amazement in your face has made me and daddy
happier than any amount of money. The feeling that daddy and I get
showing you guys the good in the world tops just about everything!

Listening to that good old southern gospel bluegrass music is good
for the sole! God is AMAZING! Thank you for your sacrifice!

[Cute little addition]
Ashlyn has another ear infection, and we went to see Dr. Trey.
As we were leaving his office, she stands up walks over to him
and shows him her hands. He is a doctor so he said "do you have
a bo bo?" She shook her head no. She said " I have my nails
painted pink". The look she gave him was so funny. She looked
at him like he was crazy for not noticing her PINK nail polish on her
hands! LOL! He was quick to say. "Oh I did notice that, and I am
sorry I did not say anything sooner!" Precious!
