Soccer/Mother's Day/Play

Tarzan Luke

Tarzan Luke and Sister Jane

This is a long post and I doubt many of you make it to the end so I just want to start off by saying Happy Mother's day to all you moms out there. Being a mom is the most wonderful thing in the world - but it can also be one of the hardest jobs ever! You are all amazing! And on my heart all day have been all of you who hurt on this day because you are not a mom yet, you have lost a child or you are missing your mom who is no longer with you. You are not alone. So many are praying for you and you have not been forgotten.

This is so special. It looks just like Luke and Ashlyn.

Eggs Benedict. I don't think Pat knew he had it in him. So very yummy. I have the best husband in the entire world. I love him so much.

God Made Sweet Tea.

The last time we drank out of momma's tea pitcher was 2 years ago on Mother's Day.

~The GIRLS~

Ashlyn serving up SWEET TEA.

Ashlyn has totally shocked me with her athletic ability lately. The girl was on Fire this week-end. Talk about hand eye coordination developing fast!

I don't think today could have been anymore perfect. Ashlyn played the best game of her life. I am serious. The child scored so many goals that I lost count. Luke played his absolute heart out. He is playing with a bigger crowd and it is fast, but man he is hanging in and giving it his all. He scored twice the last game, not this time, however if you count the times he got us the ball, or kicked it away from the other team he was very valuable.

Luke and Ashlyn rocked it at the ball field today, and I think it was all the family support they had. And maybe it was about making my mother's day a little more sweet. The weather was nice, and it was an exceptionally nice day at the soccer field.

We headed to Olive Garden after the field, and it was YUMMY and so nice to hang out with Mom and Mr. Will.

Then we headed home for some SWEET TEA, and SUN SHINE! FUN FUN!

Callie Grace turns 5 tomorrow, and she is such a sweet and dear child. She is so very much like her momma. Her momma brought everyone cupcakes today for snack and they were WONDERFUL. Katherine is the Most Special Momma in the world, and her kids are super sweet. Today Callie Grace got the Most Christian Like Award (I may have altered the name, but I think that is what they called it.) I get tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat to think about it. She gave the other coach a flower. She is such a pure and sweet child. Kip and Katherine should be proud of how wonderfully sweet she is, and how she touches every ones heart with her giving nature.

Happy Birthday sweet Callie Grace!

My husband just kept the gifts coming this year. I feel kind of guilty. Glad I saved him some dough on the ring. :-) He got me the prettiest fountain for my garden. It looks like Luke and Ashlyn I swear. I will take pictures soon! He also got me some bubble bath.

This Mother's Day will be EXTREMELY HARD TO BEAT! Because it was SUPER AWESOME!
