Summer Nights!

Had so much fun hanging out with Friends last night, went to have drinks with friends then we went to celebrate Caroline's 30th Birthday as a family!  It was nice!

Today Sawyer and Anabelle are visiting so Pat, Joni and Mike all took the kids to Monkey Joe's.
I KNOW they are having a blast.
I went to get my hair highlighted, and is it AMAZING how something so small makes a huge difference!! I Love it!

Now ready to hang out with the family tonight and play a little Corn Hole!  I might let Pat win tonight.  Note I said Might!  LOL!

I am going to see my sweet Anabelle and Sawyer tomorrow, and hopefully their wonderful and sweet mommy and daddy too!  Love me some Collins Family!

Here are some pictures that my wonderful hubby took today! Oh how wonderful the SC weather was tonight.  Some Corn Hole, Shooting BB Guns, and Riding on the Golf Course with the Cart!  Fun Fun!  What a Sat night is all about!

Today's Madness!

Work was crazy, and Pat calls me at 2:40 and said that Luke's teacher called and asked him if he was on his way to pick Luke up at 2:36? He was like no, he is enrolled in after school care. The teacher said oh well someone checked that he would be going in the car line. Uggg, at this point who know it could have been Pat or I, but we did only fill out about 15 forms, and you would think that since we paid for daycare, and the lady said she was going to go pick Luke up in his room would count for something, but anyway. He made it to the after school program finally yeah! I was worried all day that he felt like we forgot him, I mean think about him sitting in the car line, being the last kid, and then your teach says lets go call your mom and dad! He had to of felt like we forgot him! He has not missed a beat, and seems fine. I don't think too much damage has been done. But I am just a wreck.
I arrive to pick him up and they told me the side door. The side door was locked that had a note on it....so I go to the front door as the note said. The front door is locked. It is 5:31 I am about to really freak out. I see this guy getting out of the car, mind you I am dragging Ashlyn around with me, and her little legs were going as fast as they could go. I ask him are you going to the daycare, he said yes it is around back. Oh, ok! I follow him, and then I see a familiar face. Tiffany was there and I relaxed ASAP! Thank goodness, someone who knows me, and my kids. I knew as soon as I saw her Luke was safe! Wow! It is the little things! Seriously.
Oh yeah, Luke's teacher wants him to bring back his yellow folder, and I left it at work because it had, Parent Information. So I thought it was for us to keep apparently it needs to going to school with him every Monday and come home every Friday!!!!! I feel like the dumbest person on Earth right now! Please I need my brain back. How do people keep this all straight!
Luke is safe and I think Pat and I have learned a few things, that is all we can ask for. I think I need some heavy duty drugs or a new brain. The stress of change is going to kill me for sure.

1st Day of Kindergarten!

I really thought I've got this, it's no BIG deal, I have dropped Ashlyn and Luke off at K-3 and dropping Luke off at Kindergarten was going to be a piece of cake.  We were running a little late this morning we woke up to no water (they got it fixed as we were leaving), and it along with a few other things slowed us down.  But we made it, dropped off Ashlyn and headed to Luke's new school.  We arrived and kids are lost in the hall, and a ton of people are sitting against the wall beside their class.  Once they let us go in Luke's class, the teacher was at the door greeting everyone and telling the kids to find there cubbies, etc.  She put her hand on my shoulder and said "How are you moms holding up?".  I could not speak, because it got me choked up, I just nodded my head yes, and went on with helping Luke and John Henry get unpacked and infront of the TV.  I did not actually cry, but came really, really close!  I did not want Luke to see me cry, wanted to keep this morning happy!  He was happy as a clam when I left.  Before I got out the door all the way, he came over and said "Hey Mom, do I have any lickstick on me?".  I really thought he was coming over for another hug and kiss!  I told him no, but I could use one more big hug.  :-)  Then he went back to talk to his new school pals.

[Oh yeah the mark on Luke's head, is rug burn and not lickstick (ha) and don't ask me how he got it on his forehead!  I remember him falling in the hall on his head and the next day he woke up with the mark.  He is fine and it is almost healed]

Walking in!

Waiting in the Hall!

Please mom stop taking photos, I told him 1 more good one and it would be the last of the Day!

Greeting his new buddy John Henry.  I did remind Luke however to keep his hands to himself!

1st Day of K-3!

Our baby girl started K-3 this morning.

Here are some pictures of our big girl!

This is funny!
Yesterday I picked Ashlyn up and one of the daycare ladies is new.
She asked "What happened to Ashlyn's forehead?"
I said "It was a hemangioma birthmark that we had
removed when she was a year old and she still picks it".
The lady started laughing, she was like that is not what Ashlyn told us!
Oh no what did she say?
She said she told us that her momma hit
her head with the DOOR, LOL!
I am just going to go with that story from now on!  Hehehehehe!
As a good friend of mine put it, "they will always throw you under the bus".

AM I EVER GOING TO LIVE THAT DOWN?

Florida Fun!

We just can't tell you how much fun we have had the past couple of days.  Spending time with Uncle Adam, Aunt Stacie, Anabelle and Sawyer was just wonderful.  To see the kids play, and for the adults to be able to talk was something money just can't buy!  These days are going to be the good old days soon, and we are just so very glad that we did it!

I can't tell you how it did my soul good to get some good old Sawyer loving.  I love him so!  I just wanted to hold him and rock him and kiss him and squeeze him.  He reminds me so much of my little Luke!  And Anabelle I can't say enough about her, I adore her and her and Ashlyn really had a fun time playing together.  Anabelle gave me a love map to my heart before we left! Oh I miss them all so much already!  I will share the many, many great pictures, and hopefully share some of the ones Aunt Stacie took as well!

We all want to go back to Florida! Love you guys!!

NaNaNaNah Let’s Go Banannas!

You know it is bad when you are naming your blog post by a Fresh Beats song title!  Every morning we have to watch the Fresh Beats, and well I am to the point where I can sing along to the Fresh Beats Band!!

Last night we played Hanging Monkeys. So fun!  Having games at night will hopefully help the kids be less needy.  They have been clingy and want us to LOOK at EVERYTHING they do!  So hopefully these activities will help while the oven cooks supper!

Please don't ask me why my kids love to have no clothes on!
