Funny things kids say!

This is not related but I am going to start this post saying Luke is going to start Basketball and Ashlyn is starting Dance. They both start November 7th and are excited. I took some pictures of them last night, but some setting on my camera is messed up because they are blurry. I have got to sit down and work with it. I took pictures because since Luke is starting Basketball I wanted to get him a little Practice outfit so he could dress up and really feel like he is starting Basketball since we will not get his uniform until closer to his 1st game in December. I also got Ashlyn some tights and leg warmers (can you say CUTE?), as well as a new tutu. As I suspected it was a huge hit, and that was the 1st thing they did when I got home was come in and see it laying on the couch and wanted to put it on. They ate supper in their little outfits and even went back out to play with them on.

So back to the post, Funny things kids say! Luke and Ashlyn wanted to know what would happen if I got a speeding ticket? I could not figure out why and remembered they wanted me to speed up yesterday morning and catch a man on the motorcycle. I told them I could not because if I did I would get a speeding ticket. So this am they wanted to know what would happen if I got a speeding ticket. I told them that if I got a speeding ticket I would have to pay a big fine, and that I would rather buy food and pretty things than pay a fine. Luke said so if you got a speeding ticket you would use all your money on your plastic card (meaning my debit card)! Yep! The plastic card is the new currency. And by the time the kids get older that is the only thing they will need anyway.

Ashlyn is back on her honey kick! Tells Luke no honey, or in a minute honey. It is just so funny to hear.

Tinkerbell Ashlyn waved her wand over me and said she was going to turn me into a cow!

We have been counting the days down to go to our Pine Island Halloween Festival. The kids are so exited they can hardly stand it. It is Friday, then we have a party Saturday night and Sunday church and then festivals Monday. I might should ask to come in late Tuesday. 
