I took the day off Friday, and went to Luke's Dolphin splash awards and then went to Wendy's and brought lunch up for him and I to enjoy. After that I ended up bringing him on home with me. He really, really wanted to go he wanted to go so bad he did not mind shopping. :-) I enjoyed my time with my little man. He is so sweet and funny.
On the way to school this morning, Ashlyn wanted to know when I was going to go to her school and have lunch with her. I surprised her and joined her today. She was so excited. Luke's old teacher Mrs. Steven's even said you did not come to eat lunch with Luke. I said well I did this past Friday and it was Ashlyn's turn. I might have to eat lunch with Ashlyn everyday it is $3.00 for a hot lunch not bad, plus I get to spend it with my baby. She is so sweet and precious!
If you have not been able to have lunch with your children you need to put it on your bucket list. Make the time to smell the roses and enjoy them while you can. I sure would not trade any of my days!
