4 Days left of School.... and Hydrangeas!

Luke is COUNTING down he has 4 days left of school. Ashlyn had her last day last week when we enjoyed her wonderful singing! Luke is BACK on TRACK. Today we decided to take Hydrangeas to Mrs. Lendrim and Mrs. Bryant, we also took them to Ashlyn's teachers and daycare workers. When we went into Mrs. Lendrim's class she was so excited to see us, and said the flowers brightened her day but more importantly the way Luke has been acting this week has brightened her week! He has had a super week! She said he ASKED for more time yesterday writing his sentences because he wanted to write more! That has never happened. She said he has been so much better and is back on track in everything! YEAH. I hope and pray he has a good Friday, and a wonderful last 4 days next week!


Ashlyn was able to take her teacher, and daycare workers the flowers. She said she cut them and grew them all by herself. It was quite cute. Since Tball she has really come out of her shell. I am looking for something to keep her in this summer to keep her from being so shy. I love to see how she is starting to interact with people more, and want that to continue.
Pat has been working like a DOG, and I have felt like a single mom for 2 weeks and a week-end. I am ready for everyone to have a week-end off to relax and enjoy our home, pool membership and family!
Have I mentioned that I love Hydrangeas! That is the best thing my wonderful hubby has ever planted me. I think I am going to have to get about 4 more bushes! I have them everywhere. On the table, at work, and have given away a ton already! They make me think of babies, summer, bbq and Heaven! I love them so, so, so much!

FINALLY! I hit 6.4 Lost!

I did it! Finally hit 6.4 pounds lost.  I simply did more activity this week and was super, super good during the week,and am still struggling with Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  :-) 

Busy, Busy, Busy

This week-end can't be described any other way! Pat was working. Poor guy had to work Friday 7 am – 5 pm, Saturday 6 am – 5 pm and Sunday 7am -5 pm. He even went to Caleb’s game with us Saturday night, although he was tired! Friday night he slept upstairs and I think he got some ok sleep, Saturday he fell asleep on the couch with Ashlyn and Sunday I think he got some ok sleep. It is going to be a LONG week for him.



Saturday me and the kids were slamming busy as well. We had Fun Day and Closing Ceremonies at the ballpark, which started at 9:00 we made it around 9:30. We played lots of games, then had closing ceremonies which was hot. The kids got a cool metal which they are so proud of. They eat have three metals and I hung them on a hook by their bed. Talk about feeling special. A trophy and a metal can’t be beat in our house! Then we came home and sat around for about an hour, and made a grocery list. We went to Wal-Mart and loaded up the house with food since we are going to have to start packing those Summer lunches!



Sunday we skipped church. I felt like we did so much on Saturday that we needed some down time. But I can tell we praised the Lord all day. How blessed we are. Luke and Ashlyn love to listen to WMHK which is our christian music station.  We cranked it up.  They sing this one song and my heart just swells at the sound.  They have asked for it on CD!  I was cleaning our filthy house and all I think of was how blessed we are to have a house, and for our health. I was in a bad mood yesterday, but I do love our life, and thank God for it. Our family means everything us. Luke and Ashlyn helped me clean in between some wrestling and fighting. Yesterday and Saturday were those kind of days where it seemed Luke and Ashlyn could not stop touching each other. One would get hurt and the other one caused it, but all in all they were good. It is just hard to clean with kids, and we scrubbed both bathrooms, swept and mopped the floors, dusted, washed sheets, washed clothes, put the sheets back on the bed, folded clothes, vacuumed and cut the front and back yard. All of this was practically before lunch. Pat came home we made him a Tuna Melt. After lunch we sat on the back deck got some sun for about an hour and then we decided we needed to go shopping for some summer shorts. So around 2:30 we headed out to Kohl’s found nothing. Hit the jack pot at Target. Headed home and was home just in time to have Taco’s with dad for supper. Needless to say we all went to be before 9:30 last night!

Ashlyn did so good tonight!  She liked singing for the crowd. K-3 is over already!  I feel like I just had both of these babies!  Ashlyn had a great year she was the teachers pet, and helped her do everything.  We took her hydrangeas this morning and Mrs. Webster loved them so.

~Weigh in Today~

Weigh in is today, and I have noticed a trend.  Oh the week-ends are SO, SO, SO hard!!  I basically am good during the week, and BAD over the week-end.  I will post you on my results good or bad tomorrow.

Ok I forgot to post my weight.  I is 4.6 lost.  I still have not broke 5, but I am getting there I feel it. 

I am in a 10 now since I have been working out more, I am losing inches and not as much actual weight.  Feeling good and happy!  Plus if I could stop cheating.  It is amazing I have maintained instead of gained.

Mother's Day

We had so much fun in Marion.  Here are some pictures we took on our phone!  Sheila had to good camera like a nut I forgot mine.  Got half way there and remembered.

Our men really made it a fun week-end for all of us.  Even our little men, Jedd Alan and Luke.

New Truck!

Pat got his Tundra~Finally!

I am not sure everyone knows, Pat had a Tundra, and then we started planning for a family and little Luke came along so quickly that we sold it so that we would not have a truck payment.  Well the time has finally come, he got him another Tundra and he couldn't be happier!

Weight Loss

I am still knocking around the 5 lbs lost.  I am up 2 oz this week, but considering the wonderful week-end we had...I will take it!  I had 3 days of major eating and drinking!!

We are going to start going to bed by 9:00 PM.  I read an article that said you burn up to 400 more calories a night if you get 8.5 hours of sleep!  That is 2,000 calories during the 5 day work week!  It is worth a try.

By the way please continue to pray for Luke at school.  He is still having issues with his teacher, or the better way to say it is the teacher is still having issues with Luke.  He does not want to do his work, and is figity.  I honestly think she wants us to take Luke to the doctor and have him diagnosed with ADHD.  UGGGHHH!

WMHK

Does anyone listen to WMHK?  Well I do, I get lots of encouragement from it.  A girl at work told me that I remind her of Erica from the morning show.  She said when I tell a story or when she hears my happy voice it just reminds her of Erica!  I think that is the best compliment I have ever gotten! :-)

3 More Games!

We only have 3 more games and T-Ball is over!  I am sad!  I love T-Ball!!!!

Tonight @ 7:00, Thursday @ 7:00 and Saturday we have a double header 11:00 & 12:00, then a Team Party starting right after the 2nd Game on Saturday!

Even with all the cake I ate this week-end I am still down 5 pounds.  Slowly, Slowly I am going to make a dent!  :-)
