Luke told me that Cartoons are Boring.  He would rather solve mysteries in the morning before school!  :-)

Goose Egg in Time for her Birthday!

Ashlyn ran into the window seal tonight and has a huge goose egg. 

 Her head is going to give me a heart attack for sure.

Camera

I am selling my camera.  A guy at work is offering me $95.00 and if I am going to sell it that cheap I figured I would let my friends and family have 1st dibs.

I have a Nikon Coolpix L120 for sale. It is a year old, and a great camera.

It comes with the box, owners manual and a camera bag. You would need to purchase a SD Card (They cost $4.00-$12.00 bucks).

I am selling because I got a camera that is a little larger.

Quiche

This Quiche has been a fantastic thing.  Joan made one when we were in town and it was wonderful.  Now we have been eating and eating on this one.  I think it might last all week.

Quiche Recipe

Broccoli Steamed. I had a microwave bag

Sauteed Onion just get them soft in a frying pan

Put 10 eggs in a blender, add 1 Cup of Self Rising Flour, and a Cup of Milk. Blend. (I blended my broccoli, but it is great either way.)

Pour blended mixture into baking dish, add a cup of Mozz Cheese, the Cooked Broccoli, the Sauteed Onions and give it a little stir, sprinkle with Package Bacon.

Cook on 350 for 15 minutes or until it is cooked through.

Eat off of it all week, and enjoy!!

Luke's Private Tour of the Capital!

Somehow I missed posting this.  I could have swore I put it on here.  Luke and Pat got a private tour of the State Capital.  Joan knew a friend and they were able to go underground and to the tip top.  Luke was in HEAVEN.  It is amazing how he loves history at such a young age.  Give him a Cannon, and or a Arrow Head and he is Happy as can be.

S.C. Museum

Pat took the kids the the Museum Saturday, I had a baby shower.  The kids loved it.  Luke got to see Dinosaur Bones!  Ashlyn loved the HUGE Shark!  It was 4 stories of fun for the kids.

Thanks to SCE&G for SCANA day at the Museum.  We will be visiting again soon.

Mailed Packages!

I shop on line, so the kids love seeing what is coming in the mail.  Pat and I call it the Bill Box, but the kids enjoy getting mail. 

Aunt Nicole mailed them a free kids meal coupon from Zaxby's and they were over the moon over it.  Mom was mailing some dresses and a check for back to school.  She decided she wanted to get the kids something so she gave us $150.00 to do with it what we wanted, since we already had both kids new shoes.  Well she threw in some dollar store treats, and well the kids loved it more than the other stuff.  I loved the $150.00 a huge, nice surprise at back to school time.

These pictures are from the Back to School Night at Bogarts, so that is why Ashlyn has a Snake painted on her face. The girl asked for a snake, the lady painting the faces looked at her like are you sure?  She did add some glitter to Girl it up!  Luke got a sword.

Luke is Famous!

Yep that is what he told us when we picked him up Wednesday from School.  I had to write down this momentous occasion.  He was playing basketball and he made a Cool shot from Far away, and that is why he is Famous!

Christmas in August!

You heard me right!  I have gotten a couple of gifts made already.  I am checking my list off early I hope.  I am so tired of it being crunch time.  I have the cutiest stuff ready for this year.

Looking forward to it.

I will put my tree up in November again this year too.

So very glad that the BEACH Stuff was in my car this morning.  It was Hat and Sunglasses Day.  Saved by the hair of my chinny chin chin. I tell ya!

Friday night house party tonight!  Come on over if you want to have a Rocking Good Time.

Also I am ROCKING my size 10 pants today and pretty darn proud of it.  TGIF!

Ashlyn can tie her shoes!

Pat taught Ashlyn how to tie her shoes.  She was trying to tie her bible and the string broke, and she broke down.  I really, really want to be able to tie!  So Pat sat right down with her and taught her how.  She did pretty good this morning, she practiced all day at school and then Pat gave her a refresher tonight when she got home and I think she has got it.  She is pretty fast too.  I think she might be faster than Luke!  Yeah they both can tie.  Thanks to Daddy and Aunt Sheila!

Let's get Physical, Physical!

I wanna get Physical!

So do I have your attention, and do you feel like you are in the 80's?  Well you should.  All we need is a little Jane Fonda to make it complete.  LOL!

Pat and I went for our yearly physical.  My blood work is right where it should.   My Vitamin D is normal, but right at the bottom of the scale.  Gotta still work at getting that up.  Pat and I both were told we needed to lose weight.  She told me in a good kinda of way.  She said if I keep gaining 4 lbs a year, I was going to be fat.  That was her way of saying you need to get these 8 pounds you have gained in the last two years off or it will keep growing and sticking with you! 

I have been trying.  I started last week, with making myself work out 30 minutes a day.  That was 2 miles on the treadmill.  That lasted 4 days.  Then I was 4 Days off. Lastnight I did 15 minutes, and tonight nothing.  Maybe every other day I can at least do 15 minutes. 

Lets see if I can get these 8 pounds off!  :-)

Family Reunion!

We had fun going to our Family Reunion this week-end. 

1. Loved seeing everyone.
2. Loved riding the 4 wheelers.

I did not realize Luke and Ashlyn are loving kids, but they don't just walk up to you and hug on you.  Little Shelby just love to love on you.  Ashlyn was like that is my mommy.  It was so funny!

Snake

I know this is wrong, but I was cleaning up, this TOY Snake from the floor for the 100th time.

I decided to hide it behind a bag of onions that I knew Pat was going to be moving in the morning.  He was half asleep when he moved them, and well needless to say the boy took notice, and stepped back quick.  I wish I would have set up the camera, however I did not think the plan thru entirely!

Now that the kids saw that it scared Pat, they hide it around the house all the time and expect the same reaction.

Back to School Parties!

We have been parting getting ready for back to school.

Sumo's for Traditional Back to School Dinner.

Back to school skating with the Church. 

Then Bogart's for a cool Back to School Bash, with Free Food for the kids, Face Painting, Balloons, and Ice Cream!

Heck I want to go back to school after all of that!  :-)

1st Day of K4

She is so excited!

K4

Someone very, very special is starting K4!  I might not be crying on the outside, but I am sad that my baby girl is growing up.  I really feel like I got robbed.  It flew by. I wish I could have slowed it down.  Poor Ashlyn we had to deal with her Birthmark Surgery, then my sickness and Surgery.  It just fells like 2 years were just a blurr.  During that time we sure have had some FUN!  Our baby girl is going to be 5 soon, and the oldest one in her class.  That does not matter she is going to be the smartest.  She will be able to help the teacher out!  Nothing gets by Ashlyn.  Friday we went to meet her teacher and her class mates.  Then to eat at Sumo's!  It has been a tradition of ours since Luke has started k-3.  We have not missed a year yet.  That is 4 years of tradition!
