By the way Luke and Ashlyn got the teacher they wanted. This is going to be a great year!!!
We got dressed despite his hesitation. As soon as we walked in the door he was all for helping fill the cart up. I used to LOVE, to go back to school shopping. I gotta admit I felt the same way as Luke, I disliked school something crazy. It was just always a battle, I made a C to only stay in band, drill team or cheerleading. I don't think I even read a book cover to cover until my senior year.... honest. Back to the kids. So Luke and Ashlyn helped me get and check off all the items on their list. Then we got an ICEE, lets face it nothing makes shopping worth while unless you get a treat. Even me, I am addicted to the Mango Fruit Smoothie at Target. :-)
After Target we ventured to Kohl's for some clothes, and then TJMaxx. The kids were just perfect, maybe it had something to do with getting all this fun cool stuff.
Where was Pat you ask? He did not want to go. LOL, I am totally joking he does not care for back to school shopping but he was actually at work making the money to pay for all the goodies.
Sunday we headed to the doctor both kids had this just awful sounding couch and by Sunday morning Pat and I looked at each other and said it is time to get someone to look at it, the nebulizer is not cutting it. So sure enough they both had an upper respiratory infection. Today is day 3 of meds counting Sunday. They sound much better.
Oh yes We stopped by Publix, and Luke was begging for Sharpies, and kept saying he needed them for school. Told you he got into it.
I totally hate we had to cancel our friend get together for this past week-end, but at least we got the kids medical attention and took care of our back to school shopping.

Love our ICEE!
Socks of all things has his attention. Everyone loves new socks.
Does this look like $80 dollars worth of school supplies? It was! That does not include the backpacks or outfits.
Wait! Are you sure you can see my book bag?
