We are going through a rough patch
with Luke. He has always been so
sweet, lately he has turned into a bully!!
He must get that from Pat's side,
I never did anything like this as a child.
(This is an inside joke,
Pat was a wonderful
kid just as I was!!!!)
Apparently it is not only him but a
couple more of his 4 year old class mates.
He has been hitting kids, after a parent
teacher conference Tuesday, I think the
keeping your hands to yourself sunk in.
However, the use your mouth part stuck
out! So a kid cut Luke in the bathroom line
and instead of pushing the boy, or telling him
that was not nice, he decided to spit on him!!!
Last night was full of punishment.
Luke loves to paint and I had a project for them to do
Ashlyn had to do it alone, Luke was devistated.
Then he had to sit in his room for an hour
and think about what he had done.
The 1st 15 minutes he was like this is ok, not so bad.
Then we got up to the 30 minute mark, he started
crying that he was hungry, and why was
this taking so long???
Then the crying and screaming starts.
So we close the door.
The yelling and screaming continues until the hour
was up. Pat and I both went in to talk to him
and he was so sad, and said that we hurt
his feelings, and we explained that is how
his little friends felt when he hit them or
spit on them. And that if he continues to be
mean and ugly they would not want to
play with them. I THINK he got it.
He ate supper, and then we put him to bed after
bath. I really hope today is better and
he does not hit, or spit on any of his little friends.
When I dropped him off this morning
I asked him what would happen tonight if
he was mean or ugly to his friends?
He said I get a punishment!
And have to sit
in my room for an hour!
Please, please let Luke turn back into our sweet little boy!
And stop with all of the hitting, and spitting!
