I hope everyone gets enough Vitamin D. My Vitamin D was pretty low last year, and it has dipped back down again -causing me to be TIRED and achy. I have to be honest I feel like I get sick everytime I start taking it, however I did not realize it needs to be taken with Magnesium. So I am going to give that a try. Also I am going to take some of the kids multivitamins for a while to see if I am just lacking in the vitamin department all together!
I am loving all this sunshine outside. I may have to take off tomorrow to soak up some. :-)
Everyone please take a multivitamin or some Vitamin D.
Symptoms of bone pain and muscle weakness can mean you have a vitamin D deficiency. However, for many people, the symptoms are subtle. Yet even without symptoms, too little vitamin D can pose health risks. Low blood levels of the vitamin have been associated with the following:
Increased risk of death from cardiovascular disease
Cognitive impairment in older adults
Severe asthma in children
Cancer
Research suggests that vitamin D could play a role in the prevention and treatment of a number of different conditions, including type1 and type 2 diabetes, hypertension, glucose intolerance, and multiple sclerosis.
